Solar Warranty Coverage Overview

A solar energy system is a long-term investment, so managing risk over the life of that system matters. True peace of mind does not come from a single warranty, but from layered protection that remains in place for decades.

Newport Solar designs its projects so homeowners benefit from overlapping coverage. Our five-year Newport Solar workmanship warranty addresses installation quality and service. Manufacturer warranties protect major components like solar panels, microinverters, and batteries for 10 to 25 years. And our third-party protection limited warranty with SolarInsure adds long-term coverage through year 30. Together, these layers are designed to support your system for the full life of its expected operation.

For residential projects 25 kW and under, Newport Solar installations include a 30-year limited system warranty, covering solar panels, inverters, roof penetrations, and labor, subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer warranties and the SolarInsure program. For systems over 25 kW, this coverage may be available as an optional add-on.

Our Warranty and Performance Guarantee

5-year Hassle-Free Warranty

Every system we install includes our 5-year Hassle-Free Warranty covering parts, labor, and workmanship. If something goes wrong, we’ll fix it. Clear protection, with no hidden fees.

2-year Production Guarantee

We also include a 2-year Production Guarantee to give you added peace of mind. If your system underperforms, we’ll identify the issue and address it. It’s one more way we stand behind the quality of our work.
